Don’t tell
NOTE: I’m not really marketing this script at this time. I enjoyed writing the script but I am not entirely pleased with the final result. There are two scenes I quite enjoy and one of those has been included on the samples page.
Don’t tell is the story of one man’s journey to discover the true nature of his sexuality in the most bizarre of times and locations, his first week on the ground in the Vietnam war. While platoon sniper Matt Rogers trys to execute his mission to track down a Vietnamese insurgent named Lun chi matters are complicated when his platoon is slaughtered and he begins to fall in love with the only solider who survived, who is also a gay man.
The two men continue there mission, will emotions cloud the path?
“The true weird tale has something more than a secret murder, bloody bones, or a sheeted form clanking chains according to rule. A certain atmosphere of breathless and unexplainable dread of outer, unknown forces must be present; and there must be a hint ,expressed with seriousness and portentousness becoming it’s subject, of terrible conception of the human brain- a malign and particular suspension or defeat of those fixed laws of nature which are our only safeguard against the assaults of chaos” – HP Lovecraft
